Preparation Stu builds a wobbly wall! Only kidding, its not bad for a first ever brick-laying attempt!	Pond is Filled! There will be a small stone bench under the apple tree with a solar powered lamp hanging over. We are trying to make lots of different seating areas in the garden.	Project 3 (4?) Area 29-05-04 This end of the pond will be the start of the deck which is planned for project 3 (or maybe 4!) And the first fish went in today (then got choked with gravel from the beach). They are ok really!	The Beach Although the pond is a formal square (designed to be the easiest to build with the maximum amount of water apparently!) we broke up the harsh lines with pebble beaches.
Main Beach This is where the bench will be, we have cleared the area behind. This is big enough to create a patio area, the mound of earth will be a rockery dividing the two areas. There will be a jetty leading from the main deck alongside the pond to the beach, then a path from the beach to the patio.	The Beach Another shot of the beach, this is where the beach will meet the deck!	The Pond Or is it a lake, the garden looks deceptively small here, its actually pretty long but thin.	pebbles It took me ages to dig up all those stones and I still haven't finished!!!
Pond We are looking forward to all the plants filling out and making it look a little less bare!	Project 4 Definitely the fourth project now! What a mess it is now, Stu is standiing where the deck will be, there will be a gate leading down to a jetty (where those planks of wood are now)	Fishing? No! We have to pick out all the falling leaves daily and next will be the fallen apples! Watch out fish!	Koi Pond August 2007 The fish are growing and growing!
